In Hee Joshua Song, DMD, MD
Dr. In Hee Joshua Song was born in Korea and grew up in Guatemala. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biology, with distinction, and Economics (BA). Dr. Song subsequently earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was the second highest ranked student in his dental school class at The University of Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, the highest scholastic honor conferred to Penn Dental graduates. Following dental school, Dr. Song went on to receive his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He then completed his internship in General Surgery and his six year postdoctoral training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.
Dr Song practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures. His interests include wisdom teeth surgery, dental implant rehabilitation, bone grafting, oral pathology, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, office based sedation and management of temporomandibular joint disorders. Dr. Song is committed to providing the highest level of care to all of his patients.
Dr. Song is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He belongs to a number of professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr Song is active in his church and has participated in humanitarian and medical missions in Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and Bolivia. He is also fluent in Korean and Spanish.
Dr Song’s other passion is his family. He spends his time outside work with his wife cherishing every moment as they raise their two lovely little children.
